Return to Properties tab.
Check Autostart WebServer
Click on Save button (don't restart now).
Next start probably ask you for higher privileges, becuase WebServer needs special settings to enable port settings.
Every port change will do that.
If next start fails with message "WebServer The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process."
It means that port 80 is already used by another application. Just change it for example to 1098 or another higher than 1024 and save it and restart again.
Now you have to configure your firewall.
If your firewall is turned off (and shouldn't be :) ) you can skip this point.
Otherwise use following guide to enable your port in Windows 7
or Windows Vista.
Just simple guide for windows 7
Open Advenced settings of your firewall
Open Inbound rules and click on New Rule button (context menu or right menu)
Open Inbound rules and click on New Rule button (context menu or right menu)
Rule type window - select port (don't use Program, because it won't work!)
Select TCP and specify your port 80 or 1024 or any number you have chosen in previous step
Select Allow the connection
Apply rule for Domain and private, if you know what does it mean, you can allow public too
For name write ie. "RemoteControlServerWeb"
Now you should see in list if rules your new defined rule
Don't forget, any change of your port must be redefine your firewall rule, otherwise you can't connect to Webmote from your mobile device!
Restart server to apply your changes.
Now try to open webbrowser on server pc and try to open address http://localhost/ or if you changed the port to different value (ie. 1024)
open http://localhost:1024/.
You should see
If you can't see webmote application, check if you have correctly URL address or if you changed default port 80 to another number, check if your URL is http://localhost:YOUR_PORT_NUMBER/,
for port 1024 will be url http://localhost:1024/.
Now it's time to try it on your mobile phone or another device.
Try to open Webmote on your mobile device by opening url address.
If you don't know your address, open tab WebServer and there you can see the list of your IPs on the right part of the window.
If you're lucky, you will see just 1 or 2 items, if you are not you will get bigger list :). And try all of them!
For example in my case it will be http://192.168.100.11/ or http://192.168.100.11:1024/ if you changed the default port.
If you can't open webmote application via your mobile device:
check if server is running properly and you can connect to webmote via internter browser on your server's PC!
check if your url addresses were correct including proper port!
be sure that you enabled application in firewall!
be sure that your connecting device is connected to right network (your home wifi, right cable...)!
be sure that your router/bridge (if you have wifi) doesn't block communication between you and server (by default is usually communication between clients enabled)!
